The invention relates to a tile comprising a fastening device, to a method for installing the tile, and to a method for mounting objects on the tile. The inventive tile comprises a tile base body and a fastening device provided thereon, on which any object can be mounted. The fastening device preferably comprises a threaded bush, which is provided in an opening inside a tile body, and comprises a retaining plate, which is provided on the rear side of the tile body and which is joined to the threaded bush. In order to secure the fastening device to the tile body when the tile is not installed, preferably one closing cap is inserted into the threaded bush on the front side of the tile body. Said closing cap simultaneously prevents material from penetrating into the fastening device when installing the tile and during subsequent grouting. Once the tile is fastened to a base, the closing cap can be removed and any type of mounting means such as screws, knobs or hooks can be placed inside the fastening device. An object or decorative element can be attached to the tile with the aid of several mounting knobs and of an annular mounting element. |
