PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bicycle carrier for an automobile capable of simply attaching and detaching an automobile and a wheelchair in a short time, storing the automobile and the wheelchair in a compact in a trunk at the non-loading time, and simply taking out the same from the trunk, and allowed to be simply fitted to the existing automobile, be applied to various types of automobiles, partly detached during non-use and used, and easily handled. SOLUTION: A bicycle carrier for an automobile is provided with a carrier fixing part 1 having a journal part 10 adjustable in its position and a bicycle loading part 2 having a locking shaft 6 rotatably locked on the journal part in the trunk of the automobile and the wheelchair. A locking shaft 6 of the bicycle loading part is locked on the substantially inverted-U shaped part 10a provided on the journal part 10 to mount the bicycle loading part, and it is detached from the locking shaft to take out the bicycle loading part from a carrier fixing part.
