PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and strong instrument panel frame enabling a complicated shape. SOLUTION: Partial frames 2 and 3 divided by the surface in the width direction of a vehicle body are joined with each other to form an air duct 41 therebetween. A plurality of first ribs 36 are erected on at least one partial frame out of the partial frames, the partial frames are engaged with each other by the first ribs to constitute a closed section for reinforcement at an engagement part.
