PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a green tire which can satisfy both production efficiency and product quality, and to provide an apparatus for the method. SOLUTION: The apparatus has a rubber extruding machine 1 which softens rubber by applying heat and pressure and extrudes the softened rubber in the shape of a ribbon, a rubber molding machine 2 which determines the cross-sectional shape of the extruded ribbon-shaped rubber, a rubber shape adjusting machine 3 which molds the rubber the cross-sectional shape of which is determined in a cross-sectional shape corresponding to a tire constitution part, a rubber moving machine 4 which conveys the ribbon-shaped rubber the cross-sectional shape of which is adjusted to a rubber winding machine 5, and the rubber winding machine 5 which winds the ribbon-shaped rubber conveyed by the rubber moving machine 4 onto a tire frame 6.
