PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope positioning and fixing device capable of positioning the tip of the insertion portion in a desired position and rotating the insertion portion and changing the direction of observation while holding the position of the tip, even if an endoscope having a bent is fixed. SOLUTION: In an endoscope positioning and fixing device 1 for positioning and fixing an endoscope 7 having a bent insertion portion 23 and an objective lens optical system for observing an object of observation at the tip of the insertion portion 23, a positioning means 3 for positioning the tip of the insertion portion 23 of the endoscope 7 on a prescribed axis 26, and a rotation means 4 rotating the insertion portion 23 of the endoscope 7 around the axis 26 while holding the position on the axis 26 of the tip of the insertion portion of the endoscope that is determined by the positioning means 3 and changing the direction of observation of the endoscope 7.
