<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive that is quickly curable by irradiation with light having ≥350 nm wavelength and has low curing shrinkage and coefficient of linear expansion, to provide a method for bonding a liquid-crystal panel using the adhesive, a method for sticking a polarizing plate and to obtain a liquid-crystal panel element manufactured by the bonding method or the sticking method. <P>SOLUTION: The adhesive comprises a photocationically polymerizable compound, a photocationic polymerization initiator and a photocationic polymerization initiator absorbing light having ≥350 nm wavelength. In the adhesive, the photocationically polymerizable compound contains an epoxy group and an oxetanyl group. The method for bonding a liquid-crystal panel comprises applying the adhesive to an adhesion part of a liquid-crystal panel or a substrate stuck with a polarizing plate, irradiating the adhesive through the polarizing plate with light having ≥350 nm wavelength and curing the adhesive. The method for sticking the polarizing plate comprises applying the adhesive to a sticking part of the polarizing plate or the liquid-crystal panel, irradiating the adhesive through the polarizing plate with light having ≥350 nm wavelength and curing the adhesive.
