A device (1) to seal ring spaces around cables and tubes (2,3) comprises mainly elastomer sealing segments (6) filling the spaces in a screwed (7) hinged row with harder end pieces (8) at both ends, preferably of hard plastic. The elements are made in a single process with groove and sprung ends for hinging.
