<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam generator which enables heating operation with the humidification capability and without it with one unit only while achieving the effective utilization of hot water (water) by re-using the hot water to be dispersed to a heat exchange promoting member from a hot water injection tube. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a steam generation means which generates steam by dispersing hot water to the heat exchange promoting member from the hot water injection tube and blows the steam out of a blowoff port with the operation of a fan, a heating means for supplying hot water to the heat exchange promoting member and the hot water injection pipe of the steam generation means, the first hot water circulation means which returns the hot water supplied to the heat exchange promoting member and the second hot water circulation means which recovers the hot water supplied to the hot water injection tube to be dispersed to the heat exchange promoting member and returns it to the heating means. It is also provided with a switching means which can switch the supply of the hot water from the heating means to at least one of the first and second hot water circulation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
