<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a water-based ink composition set which comprises at least four colors of yellow, cyan, magenta and black, prevents color blot, color bleeding and feathering on a boundary between different colors on a recording medium constituted of especially paper and contains at least a colorant, a water- soluble organic solvent and water. <P>SOLUTION: This water-based ink composition set comprises at least the four colors of yellow, cyan, magenta and black in which an ink composition contains a larger amount of a water-soluble organic solvent as a lower color brightness of the ink composition while an ink composition contains a smaller amount of the water-soluble organic solvent as a higher color brightness of the ink composition. The content of the water-soluble organic solvent in each ink composition is made 25±5 wt.% so that color blot, color bleeding and feathering on a boundary between different colors on a recording medium constituted of especially paper are effectively prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
