METHOD AND DEVICE FOR OBTAINING SOFTWARE USAGE FREQUENCY AND UPGRADING SOFTWARE IN DEVICE MANAGEMENT

A method for obtaining software usage frequency in device management, the method monitors the software usage frequency and records the information about the software usage frequency at a terminal device; and provides the information to the device management server. A method for upgrading software in device management is also provided, the method monitors the software usage frequency at a terminal device, and provides the corresponding information to the device management server; the device management server determines whether the software meets the upgrading condition using the usage information of the software that needs to be upgraded, if yes, assigns the corresponding operation and upgrading condition to the terminal device; otherwise, gives up upgrading the software. In the meanwhile, a terminal device and a device management server are provided.
