A display device (10) has a image screen rendering device (31)for determining information having a numbers of windows for display, a image generating device (33) for providing a total display image for the screen (42), a priority determination device (32) for ascertaining the display priority of a window, and in which if the image screen rendering device (31) decides on display of a number of windows containing overlaps, a total image is generated.
