FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy, electrolytic winning of aluminum. SUBSTANCE: method deals with automatic lift of anode enclosure in process of electrochemical consumption of self-burning anode of aluminum electrolyzer. Anode enclosure is set in specified position with presence of electric signal from position pickup which characterizes lower position of anode enclosure, electric drives of lift of anode enclosure are switched on and off when electric signal from position pickup disappears. Device for realization of method of automatic stabilization of anode enclosure of aluminum electrolyzer includes lower level of system controlling electrolyzer-controller and upper level of control-server and personal computer. Controller is electrically coupled to one or two feedback transmitters made fast to immobile members of electrolyzer structure which are set in motion by lever made fast to anode enclosure as mobile member. Output of controller is connected to electric drives moving anode enclosure. EFFECT: prolonged service life of gas collecting cover, enhanced productivity of electrolyzer, reduced labor input and energy consumption due to stabilization of technological parameters of electrolysis. 2 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl |
