<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form intricately shaped ceramics having multiple steps without the occurrence of warpage and deformation of a sintered compact in spite of continuous powder pressure molding by using a uniaxial pressure press having excellent mass productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The ceramics is manufactured from a process step of mixing powder for press molding prepared by adding an organic binder acting as a molding assistant to ceramic particles and microcapsules obtained by sealing liquid with a resin, a process step of compression molding by packing the resultant raw material mixture into molds and a process step of firing the resultant compression molding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
