FIELD: technology of silicates. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of raw mixtures used in manufacturing silicate bricks. The raw mixture comprises lime, waste from concentration of apatite ores, quartz sand and, additionally, caustic magnesite and waste from asbestos-cement industry wherein components are taken in the following ratio, wt.-%: lime, 4.0-5.0; waste from concentration of apatite ores, 20.0-25.0; caustic magnesite, 1.0-2.0; waste from asbestos-cement industry, 10.0-15.0, and quartz sand, the balance.
