FIELD: automotive industry; service equipment. SUBSTANCE: proposed vehicle wheel washer contains reservoir with washing mixture formed by water and polymeric grains whose density is lower than that of water. Washing mixture flow deflectors, centrifugal water pump driven by electric motor, support-and-drive rollers, air nozzles and brush. Washing mixture flow deflectors are made in form of curvilinear surface. Line of intersection of curvilinear surface by perpendicular plane is brachistochrone. Deflector is furnished with variable-length brush to clean inner surface of disk from contaminants, dirt and stuck grains. EFFECT: reduced metal usage, power consumption in operation, simplified design, improved quality of cleaning of disk inner surface from grains. 3 dwg |
