<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ready-made impression tray for maxilla teeth which improves efficiency of a work for manufacturing a precise denture mold, enhances impression accuracy, and decreases patient's pain when an impression is taken. <P>SOLUTION: The ready-made tray for the maxilla teeth for taking an impression of the maxilla teeth, forms an impression material holding division with a bottom wall section of a horseshoe shape in a plan view, an outer peripheral wall section provided on the outer peripheral side of the bottom wall section, and an inner peripheral wall section provided on the inner peripheral side of the bottom wall section, while end sections on the molar sides of the impression material holder division are blocked with back wall sections. The upper edge rims of the inner peripheral wall section and the back wall section are bent so as to match with a surface shape of an alveolar ridge mucosa close to the maxilla teeth and an area surrounded by the inner peripheral wall section is made as a space for palate avoidance, and the maxilla teeth is covered by the impression material holder division so that the upper edge rims of the inner peripheral wall section and the back wall section are matched with the alveolar ridge mucosa, thereby positioning the impression material holder division. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
