The support has a sheet horizontally folded in five main sections for hooking a blind mechanism to an upper rib of a window, door, or French window, where the thickness of the sheet is lesser than 1.5 mm. A vertical section (1) is provided opposite to the support for surrounding the upper rib of an opening. A horizontal section (2) is selected based on the thickness of the rib. A section (4) is partly situated by withdrawal of another section (3) for accepting screw heads before fixing the mechanism in an angle formed by the section (4) and a horizontal section (5).
