PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique relating to a PDP device etc., for materializing efficient processing etc. of a control circuit including processing between a control circuit (waveform generating circuit section) and a nonvolatile memory (waveform ROM). SOLUTION: A control circuit of the PDP device uses an SFM (serial flash memory) 130 as the nonvolatile memory, the SFM 130 is stored with waveform decode data (D1) 51 and a waveform decode address set (D2) 52 as a first waveform. An LSI (waveform generating circuit LSI) 120 stores data (d1) from the waveform decode data (D1) 51 into a first SRAM 21 of a built-in SRAM part, and stores data (d2) of one readout cycle (for example, 1SF) selected from the waveform decode address set (D2) 52 into a second SRAM 22.
