PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method in which display liquid or liquid crystal can be charged in a short time when a display panel having the display liquid or liquid crystal charged in respective sections enclosed with opposed substrates and partitions is manufactured. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the display panel includes a step 1 of providing partitions 8 made of shape memory resin memorizing a first shape on one substrate 4; a step 2 of shaping at least portions of the partitions 8 provided in the step 1 in a second shape by compression and deformation in a restorable state and fixing the second shape; a step 3 including a step of mounting the other substrate 6 while the partitions 8 are fixed in the second shape, a step of injecting display liquid or liquid crystal 20 into at least one section 10 and spreading the injected display liquid or liquid crystal 20 into all the sections 10 through spaces 24 formed by the compression and deformation as flow passages, and a step of sealing the display liquid or liquid crystal 20; and a process 4 of restoring the partitions 8 from the fixed second shape to the first shape.
