PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser marker and its impact resistant structure capable of reducing impact forces added to an impact absorbing body and effectively preventing damage of a gimbal mechanism by restricting the movement of a laser unit holder when impact forces are added from the outside. SOLUTION: The impact resistant structure of the laser marker comprises a laser unit holder 16 supported via a gimbal mechanism 8 in such a way as to rock freely; at least one laser unit 20 mounted to the laser unit holder; and the impact absorbing body 14 interposed between a support and the gimbal mechanism 8. The impact resistant structure of the laser marker is provided with both an operating member 50 for changing over between use and nonuse and a locking member 30 separated from the laser unit holder 16 when the operating member is at a changeover use position and brought close to the laser unit holder 16 to lock the laser unit holder in such a way as not to rock when the operating member is at a changeover nonuse position.
