PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a real key touch feeling closer to that of an upright piano.
SOLUTION: When a capstan 9 thrusts a wippen 23 up as a key 11 is pressed down, an end part of the wippen 23 abuts against a leaf spring 81. The restitution force of this leaf spring 81 is applied to a finger of a player through the wippen 23 and the key 11. When a loudness pedal is stepped down to lower a thrust-up rod 74, the leaf spring 81 retracts downward. Consequently, the wippen 23 even when rotating as the key is pressed never comes into contact with the leaf spring 81.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
