<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effective accomplish the preparation work such as component collecting work and loading word or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The data indicating correspondence between a reel 50 and the number of components thereof, the data indicating the storing location of the reel 50, the data indicating correspondence between a taper feeder 5 and the reel 50 set thereto, and the data indicating correspondence between the feeder 5 and the location where the feeder is installed, are previously stored to a data storing means 32. The remaining number of components of the reel 50 in the component supplier 4 is obtained by counting the number of components used at the time of mounting.
