PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shredder feeding port mechanism which can cope with various numbers of sheets from a small number of sheets to a large number of sheets and attain improvement in safety, quietness, and usability.SOLUTION: A shredder has a feeding port where a shredding object is cast, a shredding object passage having a passage opening interval formed by an inner inside face and an outer inside face extending in parallel from the feeding port, a passage restriction member provided halfway in the shredding object passage to form a restriction opening interval by being projected in a direction of projection from either inside face of the inner inside face and the outer inside face of the shredding object passage to the other inside face, and energization means for energizing the passage restriction member, where the passage restriction member is made to serve as a shredder feeding port mechanism capable of sliding in a horizontal direction and configured by energization in the projecting direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
