SYNTHETIC RESIN LAMINATE HAVING THERMOSETTING HARD COAT LAYER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin laminate having a thermosetting hard coat layer that achieves improvements in adhesion between a thermoplastic synthetic resin substrate and a thermosetting hard coat layer and in abrasion resistance and to provide a method for producing the synthetic resin laminate.SOLUTION: The synthetic resin laminate having a thermosetting hard coat layer is produced through the steps of: subjecting the surface of a thermoplastic synthetic resin substrate 1 to hydrophilization treatment; applying a coating material containing a silane compound to the hydrophilization-treated surface of the thermoplastic synthetic resin substrate 1 to form a coating film layer 20; irradiating the coating film layer 20 and the thermoplastic synthetic resin substrate 1 with ultraviolet rays; and heating and curing the coating film layer 20 to form a silicone-based thermosetting hard coat layer 2. The adhesion of the hard coat layer 2 and abrasion resistance are improved by exposing an active group by the hydrophilization treatment of the surface of the substrate 1 and accelerating the bonding reaction of the active group with the coating film layer by ultraviolet irradiation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
