<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric sensor device for miniaturizing a driving circuit, which in turn miniaturizes the whole device and reduces the cost while taking advantage of a characteristic of a four-element LED having a small reduction in life. <P>SOLUTION: The photoelectric sensor device comprising light projecting parts 3 and 22 for projecting light onto a detection region, light-receiving parts 4 and 24 for receiving light from the detection region, and signal processing parts 25 and 26 for amplifying and processing electric signals corresponding to quantities of received light outputted from the light-receiving parts 4 and 24, wherein an LED of a four-element high-intensity type is used as a light- emitting device 22 constituting the light projecting parts 3 and 22 and an automatic control circuit for suppressing a change in the quantity of emitted light relative to a change in the ambient temperature of the LED 22 is provided in a driving circuit 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
