Line protection and coupling circuit for switch sensing devices |
摘要 |
In embodiments of the present invention improved capabilities are described for autonomous shifting of at least a portion of a lighting load off an energy distribution grid, comprising electrically connecting a lighting device to the energy distribution grid; causing the lighting device to interpret information obtained from an information source proximate the lighting device; and causing the lighting device to select from at least two different power sources based on the interpretation, where selecting may include a sharing of the load between the two different power sources, and where one power source may be the energy distribution grid. |

1. A protection circuit comprising:
an electrical circuit electrically coupled with a power supply circuit, wherein the power supply circuit is adapted to receive a supply of power from a primary power source through a switch; a controller configured to cause generation of an electrical signal and application of the electrical signal to the power supply circuit via the electrical circuit; and a sensor configured to generate an output indicative of an electrical response associated with the power supply circuit responsive to the electrical signal applied to the power supply circuit; wherein the controller is further configured to:
determine an operational state of the switch based on the output generated by the sensor; and wherein the electrical circuit is configured to:
block at least one of high voltage, voltage surges, inrush current or power surges from passing to the sensor and controller. |
