According to an aspect of the present invention, provided is a communications-based system connection inverter system, which can minimize an inrush current generated in system connection of a system connection inverter. The communications-based system connection inverter system includes: a first system connection inverter which controls charging and discharging of a DC power source; a transformer which raises a first output voltage of the first system connection inverter and reduces a system voltage provided from the system; a tie-breaker (TB) connecting the transformer to the system; and a system controller synchronizing the system voltage and the first output voltage by compensating a phase delay of the system voltage and connecting the transformer to the system through the TB.
