The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for grouping serving cells in a multi-component carrier system. The method for grouping serving cells of a base station in a multi-component carrier system comprises: a step of grouping a plurality of component carriers which are set in a terminal; and a step of transmitting an RRC signaling to the terminal. Each grouped group includes up to eight component carriers.
