PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system, a radio terminal, a radio base station and a radio communication method, reducing the power consumption of the radio terminal while supporting communication across a plurality of component carriers.SOLUTION: In a radio communication system capable of communication using a plurality of component carriers (CC) with different frequencies, a radio terminal UE1 includes a communication control unit 14 which includes: reception start timing control means for commonly controlling each period of reception start timing of predetermined channels in a radio terminal, among all component carriers (CC) allocated to the radio terminal; timer control means for starting or restarting a plurality of timers on the basis of each allocated component carrier (CC); and DRX state control means for shifting to Long DRX in the all allocated component carriers (CC).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
