By using a measuring instrument installation device 1 of the present invention, a wind direction/speed gauge 2 is temporarily installed in a state in which rotation of the wind direction/speed gauge 2 around an axis 3 with respect to a fastening section 10 is temporarily prevented. Then, the attachment angle of an auxiliary measuring section 30 with respect to the fastening section 10 is set by rotating a coupling section 40 on the basis of an angle of deviation, and the wind direction/speed gauge 2 is installed after being set toward the north by a magnetic compass 32 in a state in which the coupling section 40 is extended or contracted to a position where a magnetic structure existing north of the installation direction of the wind direction/speed gauge 2 is avoided. As a result, labor for installing the wind direction/speed gauge 2 can be minimized as requisite, and the installation orientation of the wind direction/speed gauge 2 can be set easily and accurately. |
