Provided are a resource configuration method and apparatus for D2D communication, and a terminal, wherein the resource configuration method for D2D communication comprises: determining whether it is necessary to provide a relay function of D2D communication for other terminals; and when it is determined that it is necessary to provide the relay function of the D2D communication for the other terminals, configuring transmission resources which are used for performing the D2D communication for the other terminals, so that the other terminals perform the D2D communication using the transmission resources. According to the technical solution of the present invention, a secondary link of D2D communication can be fully utilized for connection, thereby realizing the flexible configuration of the transmission resources of other terminals, and effectively solving a resource allocation problem in the D2D communication.
