<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer replenishment apparatus, an image forming apparatus and a developer replenishment container in which developers filling developer replenishing containers having the same shape except for a part can surely be distinguished from each other when mounting the developer replenishment container to the developer replenishment apparatus provided at the image forming apparatus when there are plurality of developers among the image forming apparatus of the same kind or different kinds. <P>SOLUTION: A protrusion part 10 is formed at the cylindrical end face of the developer replenishment container 8, and a container identification member 12 having a recess or groove 13 corresponding to the shape of the protrusion part 10 is provided at the developer replenishment apparatus. By identifying coincidence or discrepancy of the protrusion part 10 and the recess or groove 13, it is identified whether the developer replenishment container 8 contains a developer suited to the image forming apparatus A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
