<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rehabilitation device with a damper providing safe rehabilitation exercise. <P>SOLUTION: In the rehabilitation device 34 for rehabilitation by applying a load, load resistance 5 composed of a contracting member comprising a spring 6 or the like, or a gravitational member comprising a weight 23 or the like, and an attachment 2 connected with the load resistance 5 and operated by a person are provided on a base 7. The damper or a brake damping a moving speed of the attachment 2 is provided from an output portion side of the load resistance 5 to a base 7 side. The attachment 2 moves backward slowly when moving backward of forward and backward movement.
