<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor supporting structure for a DD motor wherein a supporting bearing of a revolving portion comprising a rotor for a motor and an output shaft is improved to suppress deflection of an end face of the rotational output shaft, and low cost and high rotational accuracy are attained. <P>SOLUTION: The bearing incorporated into the DD motor is constituted as follows. A plurality of rolling elements 5 are incorporated between a pair of race rings 1, 2, and each race respectively includes a raceway groove comprising a raceway surface of which radius is larger than that of the rolling elements, of which at least one race ring comprises two raceway surfaces. In each rolling element, an outside diameter 5a which functions as a rolling contact face has a curvature also in an axial direction, and the rolling elements are spherical rolling elements having at least a flat face 5b or more. Each rolling element is alternately disposed on the circumference in an intersecting manner each other, and is put into contact with the raceway surface of one race ring and the raceway surface of the other race ring respectively at one position totaling two positions, that the outside diameter 5a of each rolling element confronts all the time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
