The invention relates to a splashproof plug socket for flat plugs, in the case of which the side wall of the pot-like bulge by means of which the plug socket is plugged in a housing cutout is constructed in a slightly conical manner, being slightly oversized at the edge of the bulge with respect to the housing cutout, and the slots for the flat plugs have a circumferential sealing lip at the base of the bulge.
