PURPOSE:To inhibit positively the operation of a riding cage when an elevator is not used by providing a block member including destination register buttons removably at a base plate. CONSTITUTION:An immergency communicating device 2, a direction lamp 3, a switching button 4 and a maintenance panel 6 are integrally provided on a base plate 1, and a destination register panel 7 with destination register buttons 5 is removably fitted at a fitting part 8. In using an elevator at a normal time, the destination register panel 7 is fitted at the fitting part 8, so that anyone can operate the elevator. When the elevator is not used, a building owner removes the destination register panel 7 from the fitting part 8, so that the operation of the elevator by a third person is rejected, thereby preventing unnexpected accidents. |
