The polymorphous form is used as an application in medicine. It exhibits an improved biological selectivity. It has the following absorption bands and areas in the IR spectra: 1250, 2245, 700-400, 900-700 and 3000-3600 cm<-1> and X-ray diffraction peaks at 3, 4, 8, 9, 13 degrees (θdegree) in angular frequencies between 2 and 25 degrees (θdegree), white powder with solubility in water 1:4, acidity (pH value) 4.54, specific optical rotation -15.6 degrees, water content 3.9 % and quantitative content 93.3 %. The new polymorphous form is obtained by suspending lyophilic cephazoline sodium in anhydrous acetonitrile, evaporating the solvent at room temperature and vacuum-drying the crystals so obtained over calcium chloride in a desiccator at a pressure of 0.7 kPa for 24-48 hours.
