A process for the purificn. of discharge from a textile finishing plant. The air extraction equipment above the stenter feeds the polluted emission into an agitation washer contg. the effluent from the process vat. Continuous evaporation produces a concentrate and recycled water and clean air is discharged. The appts. is also claimed. ADVANTAGE - Reduces the vol. of effluent to acceptable levels from an economic viewpoint. Meets the requirements of environmentalists.
