<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize reduction of power consumption and more stable radio transmission. <P>SOLUTION: A DSP (digital signal processor) 112 converts respective amplitudes of an image signal and an audio signal fed from a tuner 11 into the optimum amplitudes for modulating the signals for radio transmission. The data of the converted amplitudes is supplied, for example, to a transceiver 114 for 5.2 GHz band transmission, and, for example, to a transceiver 115 for 2.4 GHz band transmission. A control section 116 produces a control signal for the switching between the transceivers 114, 115 according to the finess information, on the signals from the tuner that is distinguished from a TMCC (transmission and multiplexing configuration control) signal. When the information indicates a high level of finess, the transceiver 114 is actuated, and the amplitudes of the signals are converted into the optimum amplitudes for modulating the signals for 5.2 GHz band radio transmission. When the information indicates a normal level of finess, the transceiver 115 is actuated, and the amplitudes of the signal are converted into the optimum amplitudes for modulating the signals for 2.4 GHz band radio transmission. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
