The trolley, comprising a wheeled frame and wire shelves, has a supporting structure made from vertical tube frames (3) joined by a lower horizontal panel (5) which is shorter than the frames to leave spaces (E1,E2) at the ends of the trolley for detachable modular receptacles. The vertical frames (3) are connected at the top by cross-members (9) which support an upper horizontal panel with drawers (21) and a top basket (23) with one or more compartments for different articles such as sheets or towels. The lower bars of the frames (3) are equipped with wheels (8), two of which can rotate through 360 degrees, and their vertical bars have side protectors on their lower ends in the form of elastomer discs (11).
