PURPOSE: To form a grinding polishing machine so as to provide a stable condition in its attitude and position, by respectively mounting a pair of parallel elastic material wheels rotatably on a lower end part of a connecting frame, also rotating the elastic wheel, provided with a polisher in the periphery, in a reverse direction. CONSTITUTION: Polishers 6, 6a provided in peripheral surfaces of elastic wheels 7, 7a are pressed to a workpiece or into surface contact by own weight of a grinding polishing machine 1, to be suitably moved on a plane of a workpiece, so as to perform work of grinding, polishing, rust removing, or paint film separating, etc. Here relating to the workpiece, since the elastic material wheels 7, 7a, by elastic deformation themselves, are accustomed, work can be performed not only limited to a plane but also relating to a curved surface and other various machining surfaces. Since a pair of the elastic material wheels 7, 7a are rotated in a reverse direction by a motor 2, friction force in a reverse direction is generated between the workpiece and the wheel, to prevent placing the grinding polishing machine 1 in a running condition. Accordingly, necessity for large clamping force is eliminated in a case of the motor 2. |
