PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly perform a coordinate transformation function by a hardware in a copying machine or the like and to easily cope with various coordinate transformation. SOLUTION: At the time of reading images, an address outputted from an address generator 1 is inputted to an image memory 3 without being passed through an index RAM 2 and image data through an input/output bus 4 are written in the image memory 3 corresponding to it. At the time of normally outputting the image data, the address is supplied to the image memory 3 similarly to the time of input and the image data are read. In the case that the coordinate transformation is performed, the address outputted from the address generator 1 is inputted to the index RAM 2 and the transformed address is outputted from the index RAM 2. The output address is inputted to the image memory 3 and the transformed image data are outputted to the input/output bus 4. |
