PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an appropriate image, even when an original protrudes from a read area by calculating the inclined angle of original and the position deviation of original from the coordinate of the area of detected original and operating an arbitrary angle rotating means based on these values, when the original protrudes from the read area. SOLUTION: When the original protrudes, an image signal processing part 20 detects the area of original placed in the read area on original glass and extracts plural coordinates showing the detected area of original. Then, an inclination angle θ of original and the deviation of original are calculated from the extracted coordinates of original area and based on these values, various parameters for rotating processing are set. Namely, even when the original is inclined and further placed while protruding from the read area, the area where the original placed on the original glass exists is detected from image data, respective sides are extracted from the coordinates of detected original area, four corners of original are estimated. Based on them, the various parameters required for arbitrary angle rotating processing are calculated. |
