The support comprises a foot (5) and an elongated arm (6), which is pivotable around a horizontal axis. The arm supports the conduit (2) running along it and between the foot and the arm is a bearing part (8) supporting the horizontal pivot axis with which the arm is connected. The bearing part is connected around a vertical pivot axis with the foot. Between the arm and the bearing part is a cylinder (15) provided with a piston rod movable in and out. In the cylinder is a gas which creates an upward force on the arm.
