PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver that properly conducts reproduction control based on rating information as to each of pluralities of video signals in the case of reproducing video images by pluralities of video signals simultaneously. SOLUTION: A host microcomputer 10 detects rating information from a selected main video signal to display a video image on a master screen. A rating information processing circuit 21 detects the rating information from a sub video signal to display a video image on a slave screen and gives it to the host microcomputer 10. The host microcomputer 10 compares rating level information stored in a RAM 102 with rating information detected from the main and sub video signals respectively and controls display output of an image as to each of the main and sub video signals depending on the comparison result.
