Adhesive pencil for gluing substrate surfaces together, especially paper and cardboard

Sucrose is used as an additional component of an adhesive pencil based on an aqueous preparation of at least one starch ether with a viscosity of less than 2 /* 10<6> mPa.s as adhesive component, with a soap gel as the shaping structural substance and other additives as required. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of adhesive pencils by making an aqueous, preferably highly concentrated system of suitable starch derivatives with mechanical and/or chemical degradation of over-structures, mixing this with sucrose, possibly diluting with water, mixing with the soap gel-forming components and any other additives, heating to at least 50 deg C to form a homogeneous mixture and cooling to form a gel without mechanical treatment.
