PURPOSE: A shock absorber cooling system helps get accurate durability test data by preventing change of weight of a car and reduces test time as does not need cooling water supplement. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorber cooling system comprises a rough road(2), an infrared rays generator and detector(4, 6), a cooling water sprayer(18), a timer(8) and a pump(14). The infrared rays generator and detector(4, 6) mounted on one side of the rough road(2) detects a car(C) passing on the rough road(2). The cooling water sprayer(18) is mounted near the infrared rays generator and detector(4, 6). The timer(8) connecting with the infrared rays detector(6) impresses electricity to a relay(12) after a certain time passes after the input of car passing signal. The pump(14) electrically connected with a relay(12) pumps the cooling water in a water tank(16) to the nozzles of the cooling water sprayer(18).
