PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily copy image data stored in a storage medium by connecting the exterior storage medium, where digital image data are stored, to an image data storage means, displaying image data stored in the image data storage means or the storage medium, transferring stored image data from the storage medium and operating the image data. SOLUTION: A first interface 500 is arranged in the depth of an insertion port and corresponds to a plurality of storage mediums MC being different in type. A communication part 6 consists of an opening arranged at the opposite side of the insertion port of the memory card and is provided with the second interface 600 in the depth part. The communication part 6 or the second interface 600 is substantially used for transferring image data in the storage medium MC to another image display device having the same configuration as this device. RAM 800 stores a prescribed number of histories and successively erases the old one when more than the prescribed number of histories are inputted.
