PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically prepare a data base concerning the presence/absence in a public entrance machine, a janitor room machine and a house machine and to automatically update the contents thereof. SOLUTION: When a signal inquiring presence/absence is received, a microcomputer 12 of a house information panel J1 returns a signal showing the presence. Besides, a speech control unit TC is provided with a memory 6 storing the data base including data concerning the presence/absence in the public entrance machine, the janitor room machine and the house machine and a microcomputer 2 periodically sends out a signal inquiring presence/absence to the public entrance machine, the janitor room machine and the house machine, prepares the data base based on the reply signal from the transmission destination and updates the contents thereof.
