<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water spraying plate for a shower bath, which plate has water spraying holes formed by etching and smaller in diameter than the thickness T thereof and sprays water in less scattered directions, and a method of working the same by etching. <P>SOLUTION: The water spraying plate 6 made of a thin metal plate having a thickness of T comprises a number of water spraying holes 9 formed by etching. Each water spraying hole 9 has an effective diameter d smaller than the thickness T of the plate 6 and is composed of a first etched concave portion 21 opening wide open toward the inner side of the water spraying plate 6 and a second etched concave portion 22 slightly open toward the outer side thereof.
